Join The Blind Logic Pro Discord Server

Come hang out on The Blind Logic Pro’s Discord server,It’s open to blind musicians, producers, etc. who want to be a part of a community covering all things Logic Pro.. There are channels where you can ask questions, talk about projects you’re working on and discuss anything else relating to audio and music production. Channel topics include Virtual Instruments & Sound Libraries, Drums and Drummer, Guitar/Bass and Amp Sims, plus more. So join the conversation, share some tips of your own, ask about others workflow, etc. so you can sharpen your skills and enhance your Logic Pro knowledge.
The first thing you will want to do is grab the discord app and create an account on there if you don’t already have one. If you aren’t already familiar with discord, it’s a chat app similar to Team Talk or Team Speak and has similar features to apps like Skype, Zoom, what’s app, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. For more info, if you haven’t yet, read this brief overview of what discord is and how it works.

That page has links not just to download the Mac version, but also links to the App Store as well so you can grab the mobile version.
Once you get the discord app installed, follow the prompts to create an account or sign in if you already have an account.
Once you are signed in you can join The Blind Logic Pro server here.
If that link opens in Safari, or whatever you have set as your default web browser, instead of the discord app, you can copy that link. To copy the link, navigate to the link to the discord server above, then press VO Shift M to bring up the context menu, then down arrow to copy link and press return to copy the link to your clipboard.

In discord select add server, or press Command Shift N and navigate to join server which is towards the bottom of the window. On the page that asks for the server you want to join paste in the above link and click join or press return.
You should now be on The Blind Logic Pro server in the Welcome and rules channel.
You can find some helpful hints, guides and key commands for discord here. The guides are at a heading level 2 so you can get to them quickly once on that page.
Please read those guides as it’s designed to help you get up to speed with discord. There are plenty of key commands for the Mac version and a lot of them also work on iOS if you have a keyboard paired with your device. The Quick Switcher makes switching channels and servers easy among other things for example and the aforementioned guide covers using it.
