Installation & Configuration
Install Prerequisites: Ensure Logic Pro is installed, then download and install Keyboard Maestro.

Configure Logic Pro: Set up Logic Pro to communicate properly with Logic Magician. If you already have Keyboard Maestro and Logic Magician installed, this jumps right to the part in the installation tutorial for step-by-step instructions on configuring Logic for Logic Magician.
Core Navigation & Key Commands
Logic Magician uses streamlined, uniform shortcuts to make navigation faster without extensive VoiceOver interaction.
Toggle Logic Magician (Control + Escape): Turns Logic Magician functionality on or off.
Track Navigation (Up Arrow / Down Arrow): Moves focus between all the audio/MIDI tracks.
Region Navigation (Left Arrow / Right Arrow): Moves focus between regions on the selected track.
Cycle Region Feedback (Control + N): Cycles region feedback mode through Speak Region Name, Speak Start Time & Move Playhead, or Logic Default (Silent).

Plug-Ins & Sends (Main Window Workflow)
Bypass the Mixer entirely by managing plug-ins and routing straight from the Main Window:
Add / Open Plug-Ins: Use the Number Row (1 through 0) to select or open plug-ins on the track.
Manage Sends: Press Shift + Number Row to inspect and modify track sends.

Editing MIDI in the Piano Roll
Open the Piano Roll by pressing Command + 4, then use these shortcuts to edit notes efficiently:
Jump to First Note: Press N to immediately focus on the first note (bypasses interacting with the layout area).
Navigate Notes: Press Left Arrow or Right Arrow to step through notes.
Cycle Note Feedback: Press Control + N to cycle spoken feedback for notes (Note Name, Position, Velocity, or Silent).
Adjust Velocity: Press V, then use Command + Up Arrow / Down Arrow (add Option for fine adjustments).
Select & Adjust Properties: Press 1 through 5 on the Number Row to pick an attribute:
Use Command + Up Arrow / Down Arrow (or Command + Option + Up Arrow / Down Arrow) for numeric values (e.g., options 1 and 2).
Double-press the number key for dropdown selections (e.g., options 3 and 4).

Troubleshooting
If Logic Magician is not responding as expected, work through these common fixes:
1. Enable Keyboard Maestro at Startup
If Logic Magician stops working after a reboot, ensure the Keyboard Maestro Engine is set to launch automatically:
Open Keyboard Maestro and press Command + Comma inside Keyboard Maestro to open it’s Settings.
Navigate to Launch Engine at Login and press VO + Space to check it.
Close settings with Command + W and quit Keyboard Maestro with Command + Q.
2. Verify macOS System Permissions
Navigate to System Settings > Privacy & Security:
Accessibility: Ensure both Keyboard Maestro and Keyboard Maestro Engine are enabled in the list.
Automation: Expand Keyboard Maestro and verify that both VoiceOver and System Events are checked.
VoiceOver Refresh: If there is no spoken feedback after enabling Logic Magician, toggle VoiceOver off and on using Command + F5 (or Command + Triple-Press Touch ID).
3. Turn Off Quick Nav
Quick Nav overrides standard arrow key behavior:
Press Left Arrow + Right Arrow together to toggle Arrow Key Quick Nav.
Press VO + Q to toggle Single Key Quick Nav.
4. Manage Window Focus
Logic Magician requires focus to remain on the Main Window for track/region commands:
Check current window focus with VO + F2 (press twice for a full list of open windows).
Switch between open windows or jump straight back to the Main Window using Command + ` (Grave Accent).
