Logic Magician Working With Tracks Part 3B Track Selection Mode For Blind Users
In This tutorial we cover what could be dubbed track selection mode. Due to it being similar to region selection mode in that there are key commands to work with selected tracks in much the same way.
Key Commands
Extend Track Selection Up, Shift-Up Arrow. (Will select the first track above the first selected track. If only one track is selected, it will select the track above that track).
Extend Track Selection Down, Shift-Down Arrow. (Will select the first track below the last selected track. If only one track is selected, it will select the track below that track).
Extend Track Selection Up To The First Track, Shift Option-Home, (Shift-Option-FN-Left Arrow on laptop keyboard layouts). (Select all tracks in between the selected track or first selected track through to and including the first track in the project).
Extend Track Selection Down To The Last Track, Shift-Option-End, (Shift-Option-FN-Right Arrow on laptop keyboard layouts). (Will select all tracks in between the selected track or last selected track through to and including the last track in the project).
Move To The Previous Selected Track, Control-Option-Up Arrow.
Move To The Next Selected Track, Control-Option-Down Arrow
Move To The First Selected Track, Control-Option-Home. (Control-Option-FN-Left Arrow on laptop keyboard layouts)
Move To The Last Selected Track, Control-Option-End. (Control-Option-FN-Right Arrow on laptop keyboard layouts)
Unselect A Selected Track, Shift-Control-Option-Space.
speaks number of selected tracks, control option spaceBar (double press to speak selected tracks names). Useful in cases where you may have use VO Command Return to select non contiguous tracks for example and want to hear how many or which tracks you selected.
