20 How TO Copy And Paste Chord Groups Through out the Song For Blind Logic Pro Users With VoiceOver
Now that the chords are done for the verse pre-chorus and chorus, we want to copy those chord groups through the project so that we have the same chord progression laid out for the 2nd and 3rd verse, pre-chorus and chorus. This time out we’ll be copying, pasting and repeating chords groups more so than the individual chords.
Chord Track, Session Player and Other Related Key Commands :
Option Command 1 to create or add a new chord to the chord track
Option Shift Command 1 to edit the selected Chord
Option Command 2 to group Chords
Option Shift Command 2 to un-group Chords
Option Command 3 to select all chords
Option Shift Command 3 to select all chord groups
Option Command 4 to select all chord between locators or in cycle range
Option Shift Command 4 to select all chord groups between the locators or in cycle range
Option Command 5 to cut chords
Option Command 6 to copy chords
Option Command 7 to paste chord
Add Shift to Cut, Copy, or Paste All Chords
Option Command 8 to Delete Chords (though the delete key also seems to work when you have a Chord selected)
Option Shift Command 8 to Delete all Chords
Option Command 0 to copy Chords to the Global Chord Track
Option Shift Command 0 to copy chord from the global chord track to the selected region
Option Command Dash to analyze the selected region With Chord ID
Option Command Equals to set the global track to only show the Chord Track.
VO Shift H Speaks the VoiceOver help tag, useful in this case as you VO Left/Right through chords or chord group it will speak the start and end of the chord or chord group, along with the chord name or name of chords in the group. Especially useful if you have VoiceOver help tags turned off.
Command R to repeat the selected chord, chord group or region etc.
Option Command Home to move the playhead to the Left Locator
Option Command End to move the playhead to the Right Locator
Option Command Left Bracket to set the Left Locator at the playhead
Option Command Right Bracket to set the Right Locator at the playhead
Control Home moves playhead to start of the selected chord, chord group, region, note etc.
Control End moves playhead to end of selected chord, chord group, region, note etc.
Shift Comma moves the playhead back by 8 bars
Shift Period moves the playhead forward by 8 bars
Command Left Bracket sets the selected Chord, region, MIDI note etc to start at the playhead
Command Right Bracket sets the selected chord, region, or MIDI note etc to end at the playhead
Add shift to Command Left or Right Bracket to set the start or end on MIDI regions
Shift Slash announces the current position of the playhead.
Control Option Shift Command D adds a 8 bar session player region to the selected track at the playhead position
Control Shift D fills the track with 8 bar session player regions
Command Shift Slash regenerates or refreshes the session player region. This will generate a new fill on drummer tracks or generate a new performance and will start following the chord track on a region that was not previously following the chord track
Control Shift F selects all the regions following the selected region on selected tracks
